Ok.... i read the boards and fixed my 1017 issue with Minilogin... on the self 1 account server... but the thing i CANNOT comprehend is why do i keep losing connection to MYSELF.... and have horrid PING??????? The kicker is.......... sometimes it works 1 outta 10 tries... then if i reconnect i get LD PING etc issues... restarting computer doesnt help.... nothing helps there is just no logical reason or reasoning behind not being able to stay connected to yourself... so please someone explain this logic to me... and wtf might be wrong... im tired of looking at this message board posts for answers.. they just arent helping.. i need a human response...
The connection is random.... 10% of the time it works... 90% it doesnt.. i just dont understand.........

bad NIC
bad system resources
bad file corruption
bad fragmentation on harddrive
bad CPU
bad configuration
&
bad attitude
Now, can you blame yourself for not wanting to be connected to you?

usually #datarate 10 will solve the problems.
if running minilogin with just you connected, only run 2 zones.
There are other possible reasons,
Slow computer,
not enought memory,
network code dosen't like your hardware,
bug in network code,
many more unknowns....

Start it up before you go to bed....
If you have XP it has the nice feature of sliding things you use more frequently to the inside of the cylinders so they access faster,
