emu patcher not working for me

Im having trouble playing after i downloaded patcher. The patcher will load up the game i'll log on and after i hit login to sever it gets stuck it wont load up my characters or nothing it freezes saying logging in to sever then i have to close out game i downloaded it yesterday did everything it said to do. please help me out!!

EQEmulator does not support patchers of any sort. We only support obtaining titanium, Secrets of Faydwer, Seeds of Destruction (Steam), or Underfoot (Steam updated) clients at this moment. You can find a way to obtain a client on our playguide, *NOT* by using any patcher. Our playguide is located on the main website on the sidelinks.
