why are there no servers up?

they are up... it just seems that the login server goes inactive or has a lag spike for a couple of mins and then fixes itself and servers will pop up again. Just wait for a little and try again. Then wait some more and try again...

been waiting for about an hour now, playing madden 2003 waiting for servers and still... nothing.
