EQgame.exe error

for some reason it gives me a EQgame.exe error when I click on the short cut key. it says there is a problem and needs to shut down. I cant get past that part. I just installed SoF and coppied and pasted all the info i neede from this web site. Please help

The most common cause of this is having your desktop set to a resolution the setup program doesn't understand. Try changing your desktop to something like 1280x1024 until you get into the game the first time, then you can change it back.

Just so I got this part right I made a short cut of a symbol thats square and black with gold EQ on it. and says short cut to eqgame. I hope im doing that right but something is still wrong.

Run the OptionsEditor.exe and let everything go back to default, then run eqgame.exe again

when I click on eqgame.exe it says please run everquest exe.

Im trying to load this on 2 computers i dont think I can load it on 1 since that 1 has regular EQ on it. If i can I would love to cancel reg EQ for the summer to save money.

You have to add patchme to the end of the line.

Can you have regular EQ and 1 for this game on the same CD?
I have the regular EW on C:\program files. and when I try to play that 1 with
SoF for this 1 It changes the files from SoF so I have to delete it and start over.

And on the other comp it says run everquest.exe after going through the setup from here.

I have 4 version of EQ on my machine, Titanium, SoD, SoF and UF so yes.

Ok reinstalled everything and know im getting the DB error Invalid password.
I used the same 1 that I have to log in here I hope thats the right 1.

You need to go into your User CP on the forums here and select the Login Server accounts link on the left side and create your account(s) from there.
