View Full Version : Looking for an ideal server

Hi guys,

I used to play on Live during various moments of its history. Started in 2003 when PoP and LDoN were the latest xpacs. Played through most of GoD and Omens. Took a long hiatus and went back in 2007 and levelled upto 80 or so staying around for Secrets of Faydwer etc. I recently got the urge to come back but of course Sony shut everything down! Who knows when it will be back lol.

Stumbled across the possibility of playing Emu, so looking for a good server. Are there are servers that emulates Live in terms of group play or do most people just box? I'd like to find a friendly server where people interact with each other.

Any suggestions of which server might suit me?

I was thinking Grand Creation since it has a reasonably high population, but am open to ideas :grin:

That or 1999, as can box in PEQ, but not on P1999, but I have never really tried to play either of the 2.

peq is ok but most people 2-3-4-5-6 box which defeats the purpose of playing a multiplayer game :)

Raid Addicts

It's the oldest server, it's the coolest server with the most sexy server op ever. The creator of the server (me) lead raids since Jan 2001 on Live EQ for both top end EQ guilds and even open raids flagging hundreds for Solro and EP.. The entire servers content is based off those experiences on Live.

And u have no population so def have to box :)

Pretty sure lots of broken stuff there too but i dont know for sure

of course, there are servers that have bots. I really hate boxing and I don't have the energy to be running 2 or more accounts. Bot allows you to use a mercenary like characters. AXClassic is really good with that. There are other server with that, just have to find the one that fits your style.

Broken stuff fixed finally thanks to Trevius and a few others , as for the content , there is a whole strew of solo stuff you can do or box 2.

Can check the Wiki on my site i'm sure there is more info there than I can remember however i'm always down to answer questions :)
