Tradeskill Problems

I am having a problem with my tradeskills on my server. I have not edited anything as far as tradeskills go. I keep getting error messages " You cannot combine these items in this container type."

I also get no results when searching for tradeskills, and not a one tradeskill world object seems to be labeled. So i am not entirely sure how to fix this.

You should try using a tradeskill viewer (PEQ Editor or GeorgeS) to see if your tradeskill recipes are intact. Also, are they custom items that you are combining?

The tradeskills tables are all valid and show up in GeorgeS tools, and im even able to make custom files, but no, the tradeskills im trying to access isnt a custom file. no tradeskills work anywhere, i cant even combine old fashoned items, i tried to combine items in each type of tradeskill container to no avail.

I would like to add there is roughly 11,000 rows in tradeskill_recipes and 88,000 rows in tradeskill_recipes_entries . Not a single combine is working however, you can spend points in them. Would editing anything else besdies tradeskills effect combines? Items, spells, NPC's?

I also would like to stress again that no containers in the world " clickables " forge, pottery wheel, ect is not labed as anything, but they still seem to know if you are the correct race for Racial Forges and ect. Still no results in searches, or normal combines such as metal bits and ect.

i maybe wrong, but there was recently an update to TS tables which added a NEW column to hold some sort of new variable.
If your Db and server versions do not match this could it

there was indeed a change in tradeskilling in rev1903 and 1904 where it affect the containers and searching. If you are using the latest DB, you should always update your eqemu.

Sounds like the problem, but I dont know how to open zone.exe to edit the lines needed for the fix. I have Notepad++ but it still displays in something unreadable.

This problem is now fixed, Missing sql 1392 in the update pakage it seems.
