ok,,people,I have fresh eq install and patched everything and have updated eqemu and all that stuff,,now I have to ask ,what am I doing wrong I get EQGFX_DX8.DLL warning ??past login screen..

should I use an older version dx8 from eq or what should I do??

I would suggest checking the EQ help boards, sounds like a graphics problem. Graphics board or drivers not supporting DX8 perhaps.

hmm worked before ,,but I'll check tho
Ihave voodoo 3 gfx card and always been reliable ..

ok I got it ,,had to change in display settings from 32 truebit color to 16 bit ,,easy fix ...
