Can't get my server to work

I followed all the directions exactly, and my server comes up under all the server to log into, and it's not locked, but when I try to enter it, it just gives me the patch error. Where it says you may have been disconnected from the patch server. There are no errors in any of the windows that I started up to run the server, all the IP's seem to connect, I can't figure out what could be going wrong. In some of the windows it shows that I tried to connect to my server, but it says it disconnected because of an incorrect user/pass 'eqemu' or something close to that. If anyone can help, please do.

if you had spent more than 2 seconds looking this up you would see that there is lots of info on this subject. i wont give you a link cuz its obvious you are to lazy to hit search..but look in the news forum.

Please refer to the Win32 Support (http://forums.eqemu.net/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=3) forum if you're running it on Windows, or the Linux Support (http://forums.eqemu.net/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=4) for Linux.

Also please use the search feature first, be creative and use common sense when choosing keywords and I guarantee your question was most likely answered already.
