confusion bout emu

I AM SO confused right now

HOW do i do all this
ok i just wanna play eq on a some server for free
how do i do this
i did read the readme and i did all that but when i login using the name Deliss1234 it says its not real name HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

am i supposed to register something else?

All you need to do is make sure you have latest EQ patch (for now that is), download eqhost.txt from http://www.eqemu.net/eqhost.txt and download EQW from http://www.eqwindows.com/eqw.zip

Place eqhost.txt in your EQ directory and overwrite it. Then extract the EQW zip into your EQ folder. When your ready, run eqw.exe form your EQ folder and log in using your forum name/pass from here.

ok now that its working. i get disconnected while making my character
in the middle of it the screen goes blank says ive been disconnected and freezes computer
