This has nothing to do with me not becomming a gm... i couldnt before the patch.. ran the patch today cuz i needed to log on for a raid (/clonk myself on the head)

If you have a compiler to compile the code you can add
#define TEST_SERVER on top of the eq_packet_structs.h in the common dir and it will work with the test server. We will be releasing a new version soon that allows you to convert your characters to the current EQLive version, we wait a few days before releasing after a patch, SOE likes to make changes when they panic :)

FYI: looks like they brought the server down today for a patch :P
