Compiling on Mac OS X

Has anybody ever tried to compile the server on Mac OS X, given that it's base is BSD?

I haven't heard of any confirmed reports of the server running on osx, but its should be possible(in theory). Start here with erde's autobuild script. (http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=28050) He says it should work for osx. His release might be out of date, but its pretty easy to fix. There are some other patches you need to apply as well to get it to compile.
