Ranger BOTS are healing the mobs

Hi,

At first I thought my cleric bot was healing the mobs, but then I despawned both my rangers and whatever was healing the mobs stopped.

Has anybody found a solution to this?

Can you provide some more information? What level are you? What spell are your rangers casting?

I know I've fixed this before, and looking through the code, I'm not sure where the problem would be, but knowing the spell being cast would help out a whole lot for testing purposes. Thanks.

Hi,

Here is the log for a fight where the ranger healed the mob. I basically had to wait for the ranger to run out of mana before we could kill the mob.

I leveled a warrior to level 10 and created a ranger bot and a cleric bot. I went to crushbone and the ranger only cast healing spells on the group, and cast flame lick on our targets.

Something must be wrong with your configuration or something. What does the following query return for your server?

You may want to update to the latest revision and see if that helps.

Update past rev 2087. I made a change in spdat.cpp that I thought was added previously that adds another check to the nuke code to make sure the spell is an actual damage spell. That revision also has a bunch of other improvements for bots, so it would be worth upgrading. Let me know if you still have the issue after updating the source.

Unless, of course, you are using the rev 2068 executables, where I would suggest attempting to download the source and compile yourself.
