Im having problems with AA's and augments someone said it is caused from playing p99 and then trying to play The Hidden Forest, if someone has done some troubleshooting on this and has the files needed rather than me installing a whole new EQ for each server this would be helpful. thank you

Your best bet is to just buy the steam version of sod and use that for all servers sans 1999, but that doesnt solve the different spell files ect from various servers..
You could use the generic mod enabler http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/products-jsgme.html
Install this into an eq folder that has been setup for emulator play, then create a mods folder in eq and run this program from there. Now you can create new folders in the mod directory that will hold the various server's custom files for you, ex a 1999 folder, a hidden forrest folder, ect ect. This way when you want to play a different server that has custom spell_us.txt files ect, you dont have to manually move stuff around, or have multiple copies of eq, you just run the mod enabler, select which mod you want active, and it will automatically use the proper files for you (as long as you have a default install and put all the custom files in their respective mod folders)
This doesnt fix your original question about 1999 but would prevent the issue from happening again after you re-install eq...

Isn't this one of the topics that causes the Wrath of God to be called down?

No, that would be #^% and *&(@#^. This mod enabler doesnt interact with eq in the least. It is used with various games to swap between different game settings, configs ect. You could do the same thing with a bat file to swap between files.
Some people like to have a different eq folder for each different server they play on since some servers use modified files, such as spells_us.txt, dbstr.txt, and even eqhost.txt if you want to play on a lan server as well as eqemu's server. This allows you to use just one install of eq to host all your various custom server files.
If the OP had used this, then when he decided to not want to play on 1999 and try a different server its just a natter of disabling the 1999 mod. But since he installed 1999 over his default eq, that install is as good as borked unless he knows exactly what files were modified and made backups...

Gotcha. This just copies files one legitimately obtains from one folder to another.
Given the number of differences between live and eqemu, I use two separate installs. Disk space is cheap.
