Server Map Repositories - Which to use?

There are two googlecode repos for the eqemu server maps

code.google.com/p/eqemumaps/ - updated Jan 4th 2011

&

code.google.com/p/eqemu-maps/ - updated July 6th 2011

the latter one looks like it is the most reciently updated as of July 6th 2011.

Is that the best one to use to stay current?

There is no difference. One was created later because of an incident which was later rectified. Now the newer dated version serves only as a back-up.
