If you really don't mind sharing your work maybe we could get these added into the SVN? I plan on starting pathing on many zones and I wouldnt mind contributing as well.

Our server has been slowly building path files. I made them available below - some on that site are the standard ones, I just copied the path files out of the Maps dir.
I would have to say you have to test them quite a bit it seems the current pathing code can cause crashes if you setup these path files wrong.
http://www.eqpvp.com/paths/ - these are works in progress and could change.

Im not sure why, but I tested the karnors zone after using these path files and now karnors pathing is completely broken. Mobs are running sloppily all over there place and then resetting when i try using #aggrozone, sometimes even crashing the zone.
i dont know what the issue is, i havent tried other zones yet but how can i fix this?

You able to debug and post the trace? I did an #aggrozone in karnor without a hitch. This is the same path file we have used for the past month at least. We have not experienced any crashes in karnor due to the path file.

I did the path files for Kaladim (kaladima and kaladimb) about a month ago and have been meaning to contribute them (...or at least submit them for review, heh). Is there anybody I can email these to or somewhere I can post/upload the files?

you are welcome to email the paths to me at image.emagi at gmail and I can put them up on my web server until path files make it into SVN or anything.
