Hi,

My brother started recently playing and having some issues. He is able to login fine, but after playing for about 10-15 mins he crashes consistently. Has anyone had this issue and resolved or can i give any additional info for someone to help me out here?

More information would be helpful...

Is he in a particular zone when this happens? Or perhaps doing a specific action?

For instance, SoF+ clients send a 'MoveItem' packet to the server every 10 minutes. So, there are alot of things it could.

The message that i am receiving is this "Display Driver stopped responding and has recovered. Nvidia Windows kernel mode versions 301.42 stopped responding and has succesfully recovered" After that happens the eq screen goes black and i have to end task. I have google searched the problem and have tried about 7 different things that people have suggested should fix the problem to no avail. I would love to play some old school eq without all the crashing :(

I am playing eq titanium, read somewhere that underfoot shouldn't have these problems, but was unable to Instal UF correctly and not sure if that is really the problem or not.

Your video card could be overheating. I'd use something like this to monitor the temperatures: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

was wondering about that. It is a fairly new computer with 7 fans...currently running at 60degrees Celcius

If you are running Titanium on a modern PC, then you are likely running into multi-core CPU issues. This is a common type of issue and causes multiple symptoms, one of which is frequent crashes. You can find some info in the FAQ in my sig or in some of the sticky threads in this forum.

What video card is it? My 560GTX Sparkle did the same thing, I recently switched to RADEON, if it's new, it's due to their new "Dual GPU" processor, Happens on Crysis 2 also.

Also try updating your drivers from NVIDIA.

Trevius, i changed target and everything. Still crashing, nothing specific that i am doing causes it. Just happens randomly during gameplay, i've also already tried updating my drivers for nvidia. I even tried downgrading directx11-directx9, which it wouldnt even let me do.

Do you also get a warping kinda symptom when you are running around? Like, it will walk normal speed for a bit, then run really fast for a bit and kinda warp you back some like weird lag? That is another common symptom of a multi-core CPU issue. If you don't have that issue, then you may not have a multi-core CPU problem.

seemed to have fixed the crashing with duxas all in one installer....but now i dont have any spell info. I cant right click on empty spell slot and go through book that way...which is pretty important when your on the run. I also cant see any info on spells im trying to purchase. Just says spell name and the classes that can use it, doesnt say what it actually does.
