It's about leveling up to the max level while doing as much content along the way as possible to prepare you for the max level content. Then once at max level, you can start the custom progression 'tiers' which are different areas that drop more powerful loot.

Think PoP progression from EQ1, with flagging, gear requirements, etc. Even modern MMOs exhibit similarities such as WoW (normal, heroic, normal raid, heroic raid progression)

A lot of the players on that server tend to multi-box.

If GC is "Gothic Circle" and their version of S2k, it's similar to that but with more structured, direct ways of earning gear.

It is nothing like P1999's vision.

yeah THF is a custom content server. Custom quests, some custom spells (a lot from 70+) and custom items from lev 50+ on.
Its very easy on the first 30 levels, but then difficulty will pick up. It also have some petty tough raids. Its soloable up to max level, and then grouping and raiding content starts.

P.S. GC is most likely Grand Creation ;)
