How do you prevent merchants from displaying items sold to them by characters??

The answer is eluding me. I see the cleartempmerchantlist value. I am trying to make it so that when people buy something from a vendor its not cluttered up with 5 million other things on list. Anyone?

Thanks, tried 0 and 1, i can still sell the merchant something and see it listed in his sell list.

They will always temporarily hold items sold to them. What the option does is clears that inventory when the zone goes down. If you have it set to keep items, they'll keep it even during a shut down or reset.
