Varlyndria has had a lot of updates lately. Some of these include:
• Players can now reach level 51 and work on their AA points. (It's slow at the moment)
There will be an AA point vendor coming soon so players can buy some enhancements and
other nice progression to their characters without worrying about their points just wasting
away when they get all of their abilities.
• A new level 51 Veksar raid, which features new monsters, challenges and loot. Crowd control
is actually useful now and monsters in here can reduce your defenses, forcing you to suffer damage.
It's been tough to get things right, but I finally made a dungeon that can challenge high-geared tanks
and players. Check it out and see.
• Legendary 2.0s are now in the game. These items can only be found in treasure chests in the
high-end dungeons. The old Legendary system has been tweaked so players can't cherry pick the
items anymore. Donators can still create their awesome items and receive them normally but other
players need to embark on dangerous dungeon crawls to earn theirs. I feel this makes things a lot
better and keeps progression flowing nicely while allowing players who wish to donate the ability to
leave their mark on the world still. NOTE: Legendary 2.0s are entirely new items that exist along with
the original ones.
• Lower tier Legendary Items will be placed in secret/hidden treasure chests that can be found all over Norrath.
These locations will not be on the track list so you'll have to search around for them. They will also not always
spawn when you want them to. This will give lower geared players a chance to find some good gear if they are
lucky enough.
• Players can now start working on some of their quest items which will be used for the Path Epics
coming in the near future. With this includes remains of Veksar bosses and the Merit of Knowledge
quest given in New Kelethin which sends you all over Norrath to find some rare planar books.
• Players can now earn ldon points for many things and there is even a dragon slaying task that nets
you points. To make sure ldon points are worth while I have added well over 50 new level 50 weapons,
armors and jewelry to two special adventure point vendors in New Kelethin. (Main Hub)
• Players can now simply use all their hard-earned plat and buy relics from Goboboo in New Kelethin.
These relics can be sold to any ldon vendor for points.
