A question about forums.

I was going about my own account on these forums. I saw this under my profile

"Referrals: 1"

Is there a way to go about how one received a referral for something?

As far as I know if someone joins puts your name there they give you that. It has option put in who refers you to this site and someone added your name.

I'm sitting here thinking its a bad kind, like a referral to the principle in school or something hehe.

Nah just says you sent someone here I think no ideal what was ment be used for or if ever will be used.
