Running RoF

Downloaded RoF today, followed the install steps to a T

Getting a persistent black screen after server select..
Have read http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=EQEmuFAQ and nothing seems to apply.

I'm running a
AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800
3g ram
Radeon X700 graphics

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Steam updated there download, so wait it out or get an older client

You downloaded it today, it has been patched and is no longer compatible according to some of my friends who have tried this as well, I don't know exactly when it became incompatible, but I know it is, unless they have a way to make the most up-to-date one work, would love feedback on this from a Developer.
