View Full Version : Fabled mobs and PEQ

I've found myself entering Fabled mobs by hand into the PEQ spawn tables; there's roughly 160 or so within the existing PEQ database but most of them are not in rotation or active. I've not created any Fabled, I'm just activating what's there in the npc_types table and splitting them down to 5 percent chance to spawn against the normal named mob.
Would anyone happen to have entered the complete library of Fabled mobs for active PEQ zones? If so, and you don't mind sharing, i'd love to get my hands on that sql npc_type list rather than reinventing the wheel and adding them by hand. I've not audited what should be there but i'm thinking there should be close to 400 or more of them for active PEQ zones.

Any reason you went with 5percent chance to spawn against normal mobs?
Its Fabled time on live atm and some mobs are 100% fabled, others vary on the chance to spawn fabled. I've yet to run across any with that low of a chance however.

I was just kinda following what initial Fabled spawn probability already existed within the PEQ DB; it seems most are set at 5 percent against named; I like the idea of them being rare and adding a little more excitement when they make a special guest appearance other than, "Oh look, another Fabled."

That is a good reason to do it that way. Sometimes it's nice just to know what the other person is thinking when they set their spawns. Hope you get everything you want and it works smoothly.
