Hello all, fairly new to the scene and the EQemu project. I just wanted to pass along some info about my server. I set it up using the TUT provided here (http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=WindowsServerSetupGuide) and everything seems to be working fine. (My brother, also a recent addition to the EQemu ranks as well, was successfully able to login, create a new toon, and experienced no issues during gameplay).
The server is currently "as is"; nothing has been changed during or after the initial install; current db is: peqdb_rev2506.sql
My bandwidth is somewhat limited (1mb upload speed cable modem with router in place, so I hope that won't cause issues), and while I'm not sure about the traffic load capabilities that my computer/ bandwidth can handle, my PC is always available.
So, anyhow, if some of you (?) would like to jump in, feel free. The server name is: Everquest Black
Should you happen to login, I would very much appreciate it if you would/ could drop me a message here, should you encounter any hiccups...or if you have any recommendations; feel free to let me know if everything appears to be copacetic.
