Hello,
I am seeing that everytime I log into an account either old or new the character has *GM* next to their name if I do a / <enter>
In addition, everything is indifferent!
I even tried setting the accout status down but it still show up.
What I want is the characters to be able to #zone and still have the correct faction responses from mobs.
Does it have anything to do with the IP address im logging into the server on?

Open your eqemu_config.xml in your server folder and set the default status to 0 and demote all players.
XML Below, code for demoting everyone below the XML.

I did this and restarted the server. At status = 0 the *gm* is no longer there but everything is still indifferent.

Indifferent has nothing to do with GM flags. You must modify the npc's faction id within the npc_types table. A good faction is 79, which makes them Kill on Sight.

Could Karma in account table influence it?

It's funny having a level 1 walk up to lord nagafen... or undead walking in qeynos.... Thanks, I'll check faction id too...

Everything in the game is still indifferent to any level class. GM or no GM account still.
I tried changing faction ID's to 79, 366, 19472 and nothing.
I didn't have this issue before db2294.
Now I have a ton of changes under this DB that I really can't rebuild either.
When I open db_version table under navicat it says db_version does not have a primary key
I have been going around to each zone and faction IDs exist on all the mobs, all the loot is there and everythign is working fine except for faction...
Starting to get a little frustrated... Any suggestions?

Is there anyway to backup just the zones and NPCs that I edited and do a full DB restore or update?
Is there a command I can run to verify that all DB's are the same version?

I exported and copied the tables I updated and will try a restore from an earlier backup first I am thinking. I know Classic through PoP was working fine.
I read rumors that changing an npc might mess up the faction for the whole server. Is this a known bug with this DB?
Worse case I might go back to 2214... But I do think 2294 is more stable...

Ok... So I had to revert back to EQ DB version 2099 in order to fix the faction issue.
I replaced the backup 2099 version for tables: account, npc, loot, quest, etc... information with my newer tables from 2294 and it worked fine.
First I restored a fresh 2294 and I still had issues. There must be some weird faction bug with 2294 if you have custom changes.
