Hello,

Is there a way to create or edit how a weapon looks for example? To add effects around the weapon, etc... ?

I don't believe this is condoned in the community, and I've never seen it done.

Changing the model displayed on an item is stored in the item database, and can turn a rusty short sword to look like a singing short sword.

Models are stored client side. Adding/Editing models on the client side is not recommended due to the legalities that happen once you start modifying SOE code, and I believe there are fear pak extractors for EQ however their support and management is not heavily documented I think.
