cant create db

I have tried everything. While going through the readme i got stuck on the part where you have to create the eq db through mysql. I got my name and pass in and i reopened. When i go to the database tab and right click where is says to my option menu lacks the option to even create a db. i have reinstalled mysql several times and have looked on their site to see what could be the reason for this to no avail. Im runnining win2k on my 2.2 p4 if anyone could help me solve this problem so that i could finally host my own server that would be a great help. Thanks

This has been answered so many times.. use the search button and read the forums before you ask please.

But while I'm here..

In \mysql\bin open mysql.exe

type "create database eq;" without the quotes and continue with the readme.
