The size of weapons wielded gets scaled proportionally in accordance to the race that equips them. Is there any way to intentionally control/manipulate the weapon size scaling?
I'd like to be able to scale down the size of a war lance for example, but there are lots of different weapons and shields I'd be interested in customizing the scale of them a bit intentionally to be smaller or bigger in appearance.

Weapon model scaling is based on the size of the player and I would assume it is client-sided as to the size of the weapon, thus it couldn't be modified in Perl or the source.

I saw something in the source about setting the scaling of a weapon. They could try modifying that, but like you i assume it is a client side variable.

I think that scaling is for stat-scaling based on level. I would imagine that the client decides how big the weapon should be.

Yea I'd imagine too, i was just saying.
Also, the reason why i didn't connect it to "Weapon Scaling" of item stats is because true weapon scaling hasn't been done but on a couple of servers with custom code for custom content where items "Scales" with the player.
But I get what you mean it could be used for such as rec level items :D!

Actually there is Perl to scale items based on whatever you would like in the current public code base.
