Songs not fading

I'm working on upgrading a server that's been neglected for a while. I believe I have most of it working, but songs don't seem to be fading.

I logged in with my bard, clicked on Selo's. Clicked it off and waited for it to fade. It hasn't after several minutes.

Any idea what I messed up in my upgrade? I'm not sure how to start debugging this one.

My guess is that you are in a zone that suspends buff timers. This used to be guild lobby/hall only for a long time, but it has since been extended to the same non-combat zones live has in the default PEQ database.

also if you have the UF client there are issue with buff icons fading after expire until something else causes the server to send a buff refresh
