Changing password disabled?

On my other account I tried to change my L/S password only to get a permissions error. Then I tried to post to forums and don't have permission there either. Can a Admin give me a hand here? I have all my info, nothing has changed but account just seems to have gone into limbo for some reason

There have been a number of us seeking assistance with older accounts. For whatever reason, forum support is very absent.

Can anyone provide an explanation?
