Hello,

I'm trying to get my hands on database tables for - spells - during the classic through ~PoP era. Anything modified to or original from around that time would be great. Can someone point me in a direction to find what I'm looking for?

My searches haven't come up with anything specific to what I am looking for.

Thank you.

Halfway through Luclin the spell particle effects were changed from awesome classic to the spammage of skittle puke it is now. AFAIK p99 has the only original spell database with spell effects.

I still have my original EQ1 disc idk if it is on that but Ill take a look see in a few.

Thanks.

Is the spell data located on the discs? I'm wishing to alter the spell data to reflect the earlier, less-powerful versions. I've begun altering it in the database but, it's quite tedious. Iirc the spells where healing or harming for a certain value were those that were altered. I'll just suck it up and spend a few hours going through it.

If you're talking about the spells file, PoP was the first expansion with that, you can download it from lucy, but I don't think it cleanly imports, I'm also not sure if the non-lucy spells file imports cleanly either, but you should be able to get that. You should also be able to find the EQ Mac spell file somewhere, that's still PoP era.

I also believe you can delete some file and you will get classic spell effects, sadly they don't work 100% right anymore (the hands or something) You can find much of this information on these forums somewhere.
