Help please

I have a problem. I can long in and all, get into the world, walk around, but whenever i type anything, no matter if im trying to say "hello" or using a command, it instantly boots me to desktop. Any help would be great, thanks.

oh, forgot all the info i needed lol
im using win XP, EQW v2.3, last patch date was like a week ago, running a 750 duron, geforce 4mx420 with 56k modem, not sure about the sound card...

Right Click on your Chat menu(before u type anything) go down to channel and change it to something. cause it thinks your on an unknow chat channel and this is best way to fix it.
