Brood of Di`Zok faction

Any idea why a character would not get a particular faction, are some level based or restricted because of class? In particular Brood of Di`Zok faction is not budging for a character. It is on a level 19 Iksar Monk trying to get positive Brood of Di`Zok faction through the Chardok goblin skin quest.

I checked our PEQ editor and indeed the faction (23) for that player is not even listed, which I guess means it is at base level.

Is faction with Mountain Death Clan (384) adjusting -30 with each hand in at least?

Is it just this one player? Or the only one you're aware of having this issue? I assume if it were the later you made a test character with a bunch of gm summoned 22135's, if not, try that and see if the adjustments are made. I'll give it a whirl here on the test bed. I'll have to regrab the code to see if it may be code related, as in my hiatus I've removed it from my production computer and am working only with Akka's repack atm.

Hopefully someone more intimately familiar with the code responsible will reply with a possible reason, etc. in the meantime.

Yeah after I do my upgrade tonight I will see if I can reproduce the same character on our test server.

Tested on my end, even used a level 19 Iksar CT aligned Monk. Works here. Your perl script didn't get changed at all even by mistake did it?

Line 38 of the PEQ current (again using the repack though) is:

quest::faction(23,10);


Grabbing the source now though. It was inevitable I would anyway.

Yeah it is working for me too man. I may end up manually editing his and see if it budges when I adjust it manually
