Hello all, We just set up a development server tailored for the Takp server and also a testbed for the open source code, quest, and database.

This server is open to all with unlimited boxing, Classic with a few Kunark zone opened for testing. Experience rate is 3x more than that of Takp. It is maintained by Speedz and myself with Akkadius hosting the server for us.

The only client that can be use for this server is the eqmac pc or intel client. Titatium+ are not supported. Just need to have your eqhost point to loginserver.takproject.org:6000. Robregen, just curious is this a testing server only? Meaning that characters could be wiped. I was wondering, I know players will probably ask this question.

Same source code and database from Tak?

it may be possible for a character wipe. But I don't see a reason for it at any time atm. Wiping would be at the least thing for us to do. It's mostly the same source code as takp. It's more like a test code to be put on Takp when it gets updated and patched.
