I cant find the EQ Emu download at all. Can't find a link for it anywhere on site.

If you mean the client, that's because its illegal to distribute them. (Without express permission from DGC)

It's not illegal per say,it IS illegal for anyone on this forum to distribute any copy of EQ without direct permission from DGC. However making/playing a server only becomes illegal if you use any EQ Banners/logos/affiliations, or if you recieve any form of payment for said server,aside from a legal 'donation'.


If you need a client, I hear google might know where they are!

Make sure to read the 'How to Connect' guide as it will explain everything you need to do to play on EMU

I am sure he means the EQ Emu Launcher, version 2.0 the link on the forums says page cannot be displayed. I am using Beta 1.92 and I am getting an API server error "API Request failed: Unable to connect to the remote server"

The launcher isn't necessary.

Yeah, as long as you change your eqhost.txt file as shown in the Getting Started page, you should have no trouble logging into most servers.

The launcher is mostly to help with the few heavily customized servers that have special spell files and such that you need to have installed.

I've never used. Never had the need. And it looks to be dead. So a download is useless.

Please open the Host file in a tet editor.

Copy and paste this in it.
