Anyone remember "A rude individual" in Qeynos back during the plague? I seem to remember them doing a "flipping off" animation. Can we do this currently? I tried the anim function in lua, I can get them the kneel and sit, but not this.

Double check the race of the NPC, not all races have all animations.

It was me :) a druid /flip <Player> makes a rude gesture at <Target>.
/flip %T or /gesture %T or /rude %T click on target

You just kind of sat by the clock on South Qeynos? You must had been a real bored player back then :)

Originally it was a Half-elf. I currently have mine as a half-elf. It is not a big deal, just a minor aesthetic thing.

Each race will have its own custom animation for the rude gesture, too, as will old models vs Luclin models. Some part of my brain is remembering that the rude gesture might have been animation 42?
I might be misremembering that, but IIRC I thought it was funny that flipping someone off would be the answer to life, the universe, everything.

I was going to remark that that link has some great history, too, but then I saw that it was from Codex of War / 1stFistOfLight. Fanfiction, non-canon.

I have been doing extreme digging the past two weeks on the entire event, gotten great data from combing Allakhazam. I am slowly piecing the entire event together. As soon as I think I cannot find anymore information on it, some small piece leads to more.

I may have to beg for, borrow, or steal your old EQ lore notes at some point. lol
I've currently got 12 EQ Lore links bookmarked in Firefox. Most of them are links to good captures on the Wayback Machine from official sources, but there are some good wikis and old site mirrors out there, too.

If you could share them, I would be in your debt.
