This is just an informational post about something that is doable to play on
the EQEmu servers. I have a few puters in my home, but one in particular,
is an old piece of junk, but one of those pieces of memorabilia one just doesn't
want to throw out, hahahaha
Its an old Dell Dimension with Win XP SP3, a 40gb hard drive, and a measly
768 megs of ram.(not gigabytes, megabytes), lol
I successfully logged on two instances of Underfoot client. Not something one
would want to do if they have no patience. I had to keep one of the windows
at low res.
THEN, I logged on a third client (Titanium), but thats where this old Dell started
shaking at the knees. Just to cruise around PoK, was impossible, lol
But as far as logging on one UF client and playing the game, aside from the
"waiting game" of watching it load, the ingame play was a little choppy, but
perfectly doable.
