Ask and you shall receive. While our server is still not ready for release, we wanted to give you an idea on what features you can expect on release. We don’t want to delve too deep into future plans, without knowing if the server will be a success or not, so we’ll start at the beginning.

Please keep in mind that while we have many more features planned. We will launch when these below features are complete.


Venture from levels 1 to 20. With a planned max level of 70.
Explore levels 1 through 4 of our first dungeon!
Six, all new, DiabloQuest Reborn classes!
100% completely custom spells.
100% completely custom items. (Over 1,500 items for just the first couple of levels!)
Exclusive to DiabloQuest Reborn "Talent Tree" system.
Gems! Look for them!
Custom soundtrack! Turn your music back on!
Multiple difficulties! Solo and Group with Solo Heroic and Group Heroic coming!

A couple notes moving forward. Do NOT expect us to flood this thread constantly with updates. We will have a dedicated webpage up and running, you will be able to view the updates there. A post might be made to respond to players or when we release a new dungeon. Visiting the webpage would be more beneficial. You may even be able to find hidden secrets there regarding the server and it's future. Let's call them easter eggs.

Our first dungeon is titled “Rise of the Undead” so with that being said, expect to fight many undead and other bad guys!

The first post we made was not meant to derail as far as it did. Let's please keep this civilized. We are working on the website as well as the server. As I said in the other post it likely won't be till after Christmas that the server is ready for a test run. Jahar has posted the information we have at this time.

A little side-note.

Solo - You can solo anything in this dungeon. (Don't go ham on a boss at level 1...)

Group - We will be offering group versions of every dungeon. Some will be located in different places. These dungeons are going to be scaled to a Tank, Healer and DPS (Don't worry, Tanks deal pretty nice DPS and Healers as well) but as always, a pure DPS class will be higher.

Solo Elite - These are not for the faint at heart. They are solo instanced versions of the dungeons we'll have in place. They are NOT easy, but VERY rewarding.

Group Elite - These are not for the faint at heart. They're VERY intense and require some strategy.

A note - This server is a NO BOX server. If you are in a house hold where you have multiple people playing, we'll allow it, clearly. But please do not abuse this. It is a ban able offence.

As Jahar said, this post will not be flooded with updates, we will enable a changelog on the website as well as DEV updates to inform people how close we are to getting it done. Jahar works mornings and I work nights, so there's usually someone on to answer questions all the time. =).

Not to fear gents, the server is still going strong. Since we know Beta won't be up too long (based on level that you can obtain plus gear you can obtain and such), we are getting some stuff for live ready as well. Beta Phase will probably be FOR a couple weeks. As far as an ETA to when it'll be ready for beta, I'm still not at liberty to say. We have the weapons balanced, spells balanced, we're finishing NPC set up, and have to get the talent system working the way we want it to, plus a couple other small changes. Just wanted to sya this is VERY MUCH still alive, and is almost ready for Beta Phase.

We're getting there. Kind of why we didn't put an ETA on it. Things come up, like having a newborn! (She's 5 months now, but same thing.) We're basically ready to go;

Items - Done.
Spells - Balancing (refer to website about exactly what we're doing with spells. I'm updating as I complete them.)
Zones - Done except final balancing/run through.
Classes - Done/Talents being imported now.

We're literally a stones throw away from opening it. Just have to finish spells, and do a quick dry run to make sure things are balanced as we want it to be.

Jahar and I both work long hours, I have school before work, and my 6 month daughter after. I'm still working on it, yes, spells aren't working how I wanted them too, that doesn't mean I'm throwing the project out the window. Comments like this are ridiculous and the EXACT reason we DID NOT put a estimated time on release.

Sorry guys, let me give you a reason why things have been slow. Here has been my last few months, recent promotion, new house, new hours for work, I really haven't even had time to sit down and look at the computer.

However, that's not even the worst of it. They are going to be shutting down my shop in town and moving everyone to another location that is 2 1/2 hours away. So.. on top of all this shit, is all going to happening again.

Just know that big things are coming. Just.. real life is getting in the damn way.

Okay, okay, okay. Fine. I'll give you an update;

The project was on hold for a while, problems at the home stead, problems with work, problems with the baby and real life all together were just kind of sticking it to the man. However, I have solved the work problems, mostly solved the home stead problem and the problems with the baby worked themselves out.... very messily, but they did. Lol...

General;

We had to scrap spells and completely rebuild them, something happened from point A to point B with extracting or... who knows, honestly. Something happened and it broke the spells. They're repaired and about half way done (pre-balanced). Balancing will come once weapons are in game.

Weapons had to be scrapped too, they weren't showing up in game. Every time we made a new weapon #hotfix//shared memory//restarting server didn't do anything the weapons just... weren't there... rebuild DB and now they are working again, so we had a back up copy of most of the weapon/armor and have imported it back in, which appears to be working just fine, as I've made another couple hundred in the last couple days.

Three out of six classes (that are going to be released for now) are built and spells are in game for them, they need to be balanced, but once again, that'll come when I get weapon damage figured out...

Some of the ideas I had aren't going to work, either by lack of my own knowledge or otherwise, those have been adjusted and rethought, which has been a big delay, and is completely on me, I should have figured some of the stuff I want to do is a little bit more advanced then what I'm used to doing...

Anyway... It'll get there... This, once again is why I never put a anticipated release date on this project. Some of my help has... disappeared on me, which is unfortunate.
