Would anyone mind attempting to connect to my server, Minnesota EQ? I just wanted to confirm my firewall rules are setup correctly. I haven't seen anyone join, so I am unsure if I have it setup correctly. I have 7000-7500 UDP forwarded to the internal IP, as well as 9000 UDP forwarded to the internal IP.
Didn't know where else to put this, thanks in advance.

I also flipped UDP to TCP & UDP.. Reading lots of conflicting information if it's just UDP or TCP+UDP. Windows Firewall is off on the server.

Looks like the world server listens on UDP/9000 & TCP/9000. Zone listens on UDP/7000 to UDP/7029. UCS listens on UDP/7500. That may have been the problem with world server listening on TCP/9000... it was blocked. TCP & UDP 9000 are now open all the way through. I don't see any reason why a test connection to character select should not work at this point.

If someone can test it, I will be leaving it up.. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I'm usually pretty good with firewalls, I just didn't know the TCP & UDP port requirements.. The documentation is very vague about TCP vs UDP.

EQEMU Required:
TCP/UDP 5998 - 5999 Login Server(s) (Cannot change port hardcoded in client)
UDP 7000-7xxx Zone Servers (Default range but of course can be configured)
Optional but recommended:
UDP 7778 UCS (Default Port)
Optional (possible security risk unless you have like pfSense, etc. and even then):
TCP 9000 EQEMU Telnet (Default Port)
TCP 9080 Remote Admin (Built into EQEMU)
TCP 3306 MySQL (Default) - not optional if you wish to use EOC (best with firewalls allowing source IP configuration)

As long as your not from the "boring" southern two-thirds of Minnesota, your safe to say that you are from here
