Hate to ask because i had this prob before... help

Hey, im kinda new but i have this prob.. when i go to load up eq with EQW my screen goes black and i cant use any commands and i have to restart... ive had this prob before but now i cant remember how to fix it... help please i really wanna get playing!

just use the patchme method

if your eq is installed in C:\Program Files\Everquest
then go to run in the start bar and put

C:\Program Files\Everquest patchme

much easier IMO
