PoK > Bazaar (trivial question)

Just trying to juggle my memory here. Was wondering if anyone remembers back when the PoK was first introduced on Live,
did that door to Bazaar in PoK exist ? or was it still via Nexus only ? I know GL was later but unsuccessful with searching.

Ya, I started playing in January, 2004. I've been reading a lot of the archived patch notes on alla but haven't found anything yet.

If I can get azone to compile (gotta set my zlib links) I'll see if I can dig into the PoP zone file and see if there's a door there.

Thank You atrayas. As I suspected, that baz door was probably not there. From archived posts I have been reading on other sites,
I was inclined to think it didn't exist until 2005. That map you linked is right in sync with the era I am working on for my server.

It was added with DoN. Well, originally there was a barter zone, then they merged the barter and bazaar zones.

I did actually read that in the archived patch notes with the merge in March 2005. It mentioned the "new baz" was DoN era.

the original bazaar connected to shadow haven and the nexus.

it was a large open area with with 2 banks on each side of a large building wiht various vendors, and then aisles with stall-like spots for vendors to stand covering most of the other area.. stables off to side area, a pvp arena area in back... can't recall the rest.

less running around, imo, the better. maybe not as pretty, though.

i only played until the level was about to go upto 70. so, whatever xpacs roughly upthruogh level 65, maybe missing 1-2 at end. my memory isn't as warped as those that continued to play after that... i don't recall this "newer" version at all.
