Dedicated Hosting

Does any one still offer hosting and how exactly does it work? Would I use something like Remote Desktop to connect to the dedicated host, then run the server from there?

I PMed Akkadius but know he probably gets many questions.

Looking to spend 50-100 within the next month or so
