Hey! I have both Titanium and RoF clients. RoF seems very hard to get, and I would guess more people have titanium installed by default.
Has anyone taken this into account when choosing which client to host their servers on?
I want to try RoF, but I think titanium would have more people because many use that for P99

The people who play Project 1999 usually play there exclusively. I would recommend using the Rain of Fear or Underfoot client. Titanium has some limitations that custom servers don't like (9999 max spell ID).

There are ways to get most all of the clients - which will not be discussed here :)
However, from a legal point-of-view, Titanium Edition and Secrets of Faydwer are the only two options at the moment...
(E-Bay is a good place to look for those..though, they can be QUITE expensive.)

i'd read a bit on a server's forums before choosing. i'd bet that in your journeys the answers become apparent within a few clicks. you'd still have to see which is 'best' client per server. maybe more than "1"
unless noted for a server, i know rof2/uf/titanium work well. I don't think you'd be too unhappy no matter which you use as far as them being operational. i'd suggest rof2, then uf, and last titanium. (clickies from bag, no weight currency etc on rof2 / Con: if you like to 'warp' etc i don't think there's a freely available app for that, then version down to UF)
keep an archive of both. i'd even find the third one you don't have, just in case. assuming that most people won't have space problems, of course. i keep mine in a zero-compressed archive, but even that's uneccessary.. just keep a copy unmolested somewhere.
People go 2 various Places to find these clients too.
