UF and ROF2 not zoing in same Instance

So some of my players found that when zoning into the Guild lobby they are not zoning into the same instance. One is using ROF2 and the other is using UF. The UF client doesn't see any of the merchants etc that everyone else sees in that zone. is there a fix for this so that both clients can play in the same zone?

This is normal and due to the nature of 'live' changes.

The plan is to eventually implement neighborhoods and there will be no way to incorporate non-instanced guild halls.

ah so pretty much the UF stuff is not supported anymore correct ?

Look in your quests\guildlobby folder at the player.pl script. I believe that is the one that checks client mask and sends them to different instances. Just remove that section of the quest file.

To my knowledge it has no adverse effects, many servers have a functioning guildlobby with a single instance.

UF is still supported. The zone geometry of guild lobby changed so RoF+ goes to a different instance.

Not really honestly, The problem with the different instances is that if you zone into the UF instance with an ROF2 client the doors and zone lines are missing so essentially you get stuck in a void with no way to get out besides porting or gm moving you. I did try it myself its honestly more trouble than its worth. You can just omit the part of the script that forces the zone change for any client above ROF but it doesn't really help much.

Althow on a side note its been awhile so, if you can find out which instances of the guild lobby works for both clients. You can just change the script to force all clients to go to the 1 uniform zone.
