I just had a quick question. In the eqemu_config file there are entries for a web interface. Port 9080. I tried doing accessing it through google chrome http://129.168.1.10:9080 gut got a page not found error. Do I need to turn anything on to get the server's web page to come up??
Thanks!!!!

I assume you have your webserver all built, for the interface to find it ? apache, php, etc ?

No.. I wasn't sure on how any of it worked. IS there a wikki article that explains how to set it up.. I did quite a bit of searching but wasn't able to find anything.

As far as I know, that is not needed.

Ok, sorry,I guess I'm not on the same "page" here, lol. When I think of the "needs"
for any kind of web to integrate with the server, connect with the DB, etc, I think
of alla clone and whatever else that is "useful" to myself or the players, but at the
same time, I would rather keep the box totally dedicated to server files only.

I am pretty sure World acts as a HTTP server for the files as long as everything is in place, on port 9080 if I remember right. Not positive, pretty sure though.

I did notice, in that templates folder, config.html , makes reference to eqemu_config.xml ?
With everything switched over .json for server configs, is that whole web interface still possible ?

Embedded web interface was gutted with netcode overhaul
Whenever someone wants to implement a replacement that isn’t embedded we will use that
