Whenever I install the Basic Server Install for Windows (https://eqemu.gitbook.io/server/categories/how-to-guides/installation/server-installation-windows) by running eqemu_install.bat, it always stalls the first time when it gets to the step where it tries to update the database (I can't remember the exact wording of it).
To get the installer to finish, all I do is re-run eqemu_install.bat and it passes that part of the install instantly and proceeds with the complete install. I've tested this on 2 different computers on 2 completely different networks with the same results.
Just wondering if this is normal. Thanks!

It probably stalled because PEQ was actually down for a little bit last night around 4AM CDT, I would try again

Thank you Akkadius. It could be a coincidental timing issue like you pointed out.
I had this happen 3 months ago when I first installed as well. It's possible I installed at a similar time of day then too.

This happens to me EVERY time I do a fresh install. I just hit Enter when I see "DB up to date," which closes the command prompt, and then I run the batch file as admin again.

I'll put it on my list to run through an install, we're always making changes and developing and sometimes we need to just need to do some house keeping
