Can't get past login screen

Can anyone help me? I updated from the Titanium to the RoF client. It was logging in just fine under Titanium but that was not current to the server I was using. I just did the update and fixed the host file, created the bat. I was feeling pretty proud considering it took me forever the first time and I did it easily this time. It loaded right up and I got to the login screen and it just sits there with the "Logging into server. Please Wait..." message.

I am running this with my son so I did the update on both computers and they are both stuck at the same spot with 2 different accounts. I have verified the passwords are correct and tried multiple times on both PCs. Any ideas?

Not sure of what server you're playing on .. but, verify that you're using port 5999 in the eqhost file -and- that the server you're playing on supports the RoF2 client.

The core code supports 6 client versions .. but, each server admin can disable any that they choose not to support.
