Cannot connect to login server

I feel like I have follow all of the instructions, but obviously I haven't, because I can not connect to the EQemu login server.

I just hang with a small open window with the message:

Connecting...
-----------------------

I have installed Titanium

I have created a shortcut target: "C:\Program Files
\(x86)\Eqemu\EverQuest.exe" patchme

With Start in: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Eqemu"

Edited the eqhost.txt

[LoginServer]
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998

I have set up an account on EQEmulator (although I do not think I am getting that far

I have turned off fire walling on my computer

I have spent several hours on the board looking slimier problems.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

After one and half days, I have resolved the problem.

Instead of doing a out of the box install of Titanium (which installed in the Program Files directory), I installed it in my home directory.

Works without problems.

Note: I forgot to say that I was running Windows 10, just encase someone else has the same problem.
