Can Bots Dual Wield?

Is there a way to have a bot dual wield?

I have a human warrior bot that is carrying a 1HS sword. I want to give him another 1HS weapon for his off-hand or secondary hand, but everytime I do, he returns his previously held weapon to me. My bots and I are level 20.

If the class is capable and have met the skill requirement, yes.

Double-check your weapons to make sure that they're not Primary-only.

I guess Paladins can't dual wield? I tried with my rogue and it worked for him. I thought my bot was a warrior, but he is a Paladin so I'm guessing they can't wield two weapons.

Paladins, Shadowknights and Berserkers are all 2H-only - in the original EQ.


EDIT: I should say 2H as far as weapons in the off-hand .. so, yes - no dual wield...

Ok, cool. thanks for the info. I guess I'll just give him back that vicious 2H axe he had. :)
