Cannot Create Character

I followed all steps carefully at the Project Lazarus Wiki and everything is installed and patched, I was able to log in, but when I get to the character creation screen, when I click on create character, nothing happens. What did I do wrong?

You need to take that issue up with the server you can't get into. Hence - contact the Lazarus team for support issues about getting on the Lazarus server.

I'm able to get on the server. The problem is that when I hit create character at character select screen the button does nothing, actually none of the buttons do anything.

rip. having this issue aswell, i will post if i get it figured out. It might have something to do with PC hardware, my laptop can connect but my desktop cant.

I am having this on an AMD 9950X3d with RTX5090 :(

Same issue. Does not matter the server I setup.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16-Core Processor (4.50 GHz)
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (24 GB)

UPDATE: It is finally working.

So I got it to work by doing the following. NOTE: This is only for not being able to create characters and the quit button not working.

1. Make sure you are logged into the server.
2. Open Task Manager.
3. Click on Details icon, on left side, looks like 3 lines.
4. Find eqgame.exe and right click.
5. Click on Set Affinity.
6. Mine showed, 0,1,2,3,4.
7. Uncheck them all.
8. Now only select 0,1,2,3.
