Transfer LS account from P99 to EQEmu

I have a LoginServer account which is apparently managed by P99.

It seems that EQEmu shares a database index or something, because it wouldn't let me create an EQEmu LS account with the name.

How do I transfer my LS account from P99 management to EQEmu management?

Alternatively, if I delete the account from P99, will that free up the name to be used here? Or is it just gone forever?

I originally played in 2017. I played P99 only and don't remember needing to logon through EQEmu. I have access to my original P99 account, but I think that was all I used to play back then. I cannot access the EQEmu side of that account, and I doubt if it was a migration thing that an email even was assigned to it. I have asked on the forums and have been ignored. I really don't want to give up on that account if there is any chance of recovering it.

I'm having difficulty following you, here. Are you saying that you're in the same situation as I am, but you've gotten no help migrating the account, so you created a new one?

Which forums did you ask on? Here, or P99?

P99 periodically decides they don't like my ISP or something and stops serving me web pages, so I'd really rather not poke the bear by asking them.
I was hoping the EQEmu admins could rescue the account, or at least tell me whether deleting it is a safe way to recover the name, assuming I can get in to do so.

I believe my old account on P99 originally managed the EQEmu side. Something must have migrated over. When I went to recover my account on P99 side, I was able to. When I tried here, it doesn't accept any of the emails I have used for decades. There isn't another one it could be, so I'm guessing it's just blank.

I was able to check P99 again, and there doesn't seem to be an option to delete a LS account using their management interface. I guess the name is just lost to me.

Hopefully an EQEmu admin (or whoever controls the actual database) reads this at some point and can offer advice.
